Common Questions
How do I save content to Resurface?
Tap the Share button in any app (Instagram, YouTube, Safari, Chrome, etc.) and select Resurface. The link and title will fill in automatically. You can also manually add bookmarks from the Add tab.
How does spaced repetition work?
After you review a bookmark, it reappears at increasing intervals: 1 day, 3 days, 7 days, 14 days, 30 days, then 60 days. This ensures you revisit content at the optimal time for retention.
Is my data stored online?
No. All your bookmarks, review history, and settings are stored locally on your device. Resurface does not collect or transmit any personal data. You can export your data as JSON at any time from Settings.
What does “Got it” vs “Nailed it” mean?
“Got it” means you've reviewed the content and want it to come back later at a longer interval. “Nailed it” means you've fully absorbed it and want to move it to your archive.
Can I use Resurface for things other than Reels?
Absolutely. Resurface works with any content — articles, recipes, workout routines, course notes, tweets, podcast episodes, or anything else you want to remember. Just save a note with or without a link.
