Resurface Privacy Policy

Overview

Resurface is built with your privacy in mind. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. Your bookmarks, review history, settings, and preferences remain entirely on your device.

Data We Collect

Resurface does not collect any personal information. We do not use analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs. There are no user accounts, and no data leaves your device.

Data Storage

All data — including bookmarks, notes, tags, review history, and app settings — is stored locally on your device using on-device storage. If you delete the app, all associated data is permanently removed. You can export your data as JSON at any time from the Settings screen.

Network Requests

Resurface is designed to work fully offline. The app makes network requests only when you share a link to the app — it fetches the page title from the shared URL to auto-fill the bookmark note. These requests are made directly to the shared URL and no data is sent to our servers. We do not operate any servers.

Third-Party Services

Resurface does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or data collection services.

Children's Privacy

Resurface does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date.
